Spinach Cheese Balls

These spinach cheese balls are crisp from outside and cheesy from inside😍


Spinach-1/2cup Finely chopped and blanched

Boiled potato-1

Bread crumbs-1/2cup

Caramelized onions-2-3tbsp

Cheese cubes-2

Chilli flakes-1 tsp

Salt-as needed

Bread crumbs-for rolling

Oil for deep frying

For serving:-

Tomato Ketchup


  • Combine the boiled potatoes,spinach,bread crumbs,caramalized onions, salt in a bowl and mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portion and shape each into a round ball.
  • Grate the cheese cubes and add chilli flakes.Mix well.
  • Press a little in the centre of each spinach ball,place a some grated cheese mixture in it and again shape them into a round balls.
  • Roll the balls in the bread crumbs and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry till they trim golden brown in colour.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Full cream milk-1litre




Saffron-a pinch

Cardamom powder-1/4tsp


  • Dissolve cornflour in 1/2cup of milk and keep aside.
  • Dissolve saffron in 2tbsp of warm milk and keep aside.
  • Boil the rest of the milk in a pan for about 20 minutes on medium flame,or till it is reduced to half in quantity.
  • Add sugar and corn flour mixture.Cook till the sugar is dissolved well.
  • Add saffron milk, pistachio and cardamom powder.Cook for another 2-3mintues.
  • Remove from flame.
  • Keep aside to cool completely.
  • Fill the mixture in the matka .Freeze for 6-8 hours  or overnight.

Eggless Muffins

Eggless Whole-Wheat Vanilla Muffins

Easy to prepare this delicious muffins with whole wheat flour.I have made these muffins a couple of times.The crumbs and texture is so soft,light and so good,that no one will come to know that muffins are made of  whole wheat flour😊


Whole wheat flour-1 1/2cups



Baking powder-1 1/4tsp

Baking soda-1/2tsp


Vanilla Essence-1tsp

Milk-as required

  • Pre heat the oven @180°C.
  • Sieve the whole wheat flour for couple of times.
  • In a bowl beat curd until it gets smooth.Add sugar and mix well.Then add baking powder and baking soda to the curd mixture.Mix well and keep aside for 4-5mins.
  • Now the curd mixture will be frothy and you can see some bubbles.
  • Add oil in this curd mixture and mix well.
  • Add wheat flour in batches to curd mixture and mix well.
  • Add enough milk to get a soft dropping consistency.
  • Line a muffin tray with paper cups and spoon mixture in them filling them 3/4 only.
  • Bake @180°C for 20mins or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of a cupcake comes out clean.
  • Turn cupcakes out onto a wire rack to cool.


Rasmalai a popular Bengali delicacy made with paneer and thickend milk.Ras-malai-Ras literally translated to”Juice” and malai to”Cream”.Flattened  paneer balls are cooked in sugar syrup and dunked in sweetened thick milk.These flattened discs are juicy after soaking up the creamy thick milk.Refrigerate this delightful mithai and enjoy it after chilled.


For Rasgullas:-


Citric acid-3/4tsp(dissolved in 1 tbsp of water) or lemon juice-1tbsp


For Saffron Milk:-

Milk-2 1/2cup

Kesar-2 pinch(dissolved in 2tbsp of warm milk)


Cardamom powder-1/2tsp


For Rasgulla:-

  • Boil the milk in a pan on a high flame till it gets one boil.
  • Switch of the flame,add the citric acid or lemon juice and keep stirring gently till it curdled.
  • It is completely curdled when the paneer and whey separate out.
  • Strain using a Muslim cloth.Place the Muslim cloth under tap water and wash it gently for 2-3min.
  • Tie and hang it for half an hour.
  • Place the paneer on a plate or on kitchen top and knead the paneer using your palms for 5mins or till the paneer is smooth.
  • Divide the paneer into equal portion and roll each portions and flatten it a little and keep aside.
  • In a steamer put 5cups of water along with 1cup of sugar and bring it to boil.
  • Put the paneer balls into the sugar water and steam for 10min.
  • Switch of the flame and allow it to cool.

For Saffron Milk:-

  • Boil the milk in a pan and cook for 10-15mins,while stirring occasionally.
  • Add the sugar, cardamom powder,saffron milk and boil the milk for a min.
  • Switch of the flame and keep aside to cool.

How to proceed:-

  • Remove the rasgulla from the sugar syrup,squeeze them and add them to the saffron flavoured milk and stir gently.
  • Refrigerate them for atleast an hour.
  • Serve chilled garnished with pistachios.

Mawa Malpua

Malpua a popular mithai in northern part of India,specially in Rajasthan. Holi would be incomplete without these warm,deep fried Indian pancake(Malpua) dessert.


Grated mawa-1cup

Milk-1 1/2cup

All purpose flour-1 cup

Sugar-1 cup


Kesar-1/4tsp(Dissolve in 2tsp of milk)

Almonds slivered-1tbsp

Pistachio slivered-1tbsp


  • Heat the milk to Luke warm.
  • Add grated Mawa little at a time  in warm milk and Mix well.
  • To this add all purpose flour and mix well till no lumps remains.
  • If needed add more milk to adjust the consistency.Keep aside.
  • Combine sugar and water in a pan.Cook on medium flame till the sugar syrup reaches to 1 string consistency.
  • Add saffron mixture,mix well and keep aside.
  • Now heat ghee in a broad pan.
  • Pour a small ladleful of batter into the ghee to make small pancakes.
  • Cook till it turns light brown in colour from one side and then turn to cook the other side.
  • Dip the malpua in the sugar syrup.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter and make more malpua.
  • Serve warm.Garnished with almonds and pistachio slivers.

Oats-1/2cup ( coarsely grind)

Wheat flour-1/2cup

Brown Sugar-1/3cup


Baking soda-1/4tsp

Salt-a pinch

Milk-as needed


  • In a mixing bowl add oats,wheat flour,salt, brown sugar,baking soda and mix well.
  • Rub the butter into the flour mixture.
  • Add milk little at a time to make a stiff dough.
  • Roll the dough and cut into any desired shape.
  • Place the cutout cookies on a baking tray and bake in preheated oven @190°C for 15mins.
  • Once done remove from oven and let it cool down completely.
  • Store in airtight container.


    Chilli Cheese Cookies

    Nothing can beat the rich mouth-feel and cheesey delightfulness of this cookies.


    All purpose flour-1 1/4cup


    Powdered sugar-1tbsp

    Grated cheese-1/4cup

    Milk powder-1tbsp

    Baking powder-1/4tsp

    Chilli flakes-1/2tbsp



    • Sieve flour,salt and baking powder.
    • Beat butter and powdered sugar till light and creamy.
    • Add milk powder, grated cheese to butter mixture and mix well.
    • Now add flour mixture and chilli flakes.Mix well and form a smooth dough.
    • Preheat the oven @160°C.
    • Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll it for about half an inch.
    • Cut the cookies using cookie  cutter.
    • Place these cookies on a greased baking tray.

    • Bake in preheated oven @160°C for 15-17mins.
    • Once done remove from oven and let it cool down completely.
    • Store them in an air-tight container.
