Digestive Biscuits | Graham Crackers

Digestive biscuits are just very simple to make.Enjoy with tea or coffee.Perfect for making cheesecakes.

Ingredients:-

Oats-1/2cup ( coarsely grind)

Wheat flour-1/2cup

Brown Sugar-1/3cup

Butter-3tbsp

Baking soda-1/4tsp

Salt-a pinch

Milk-as needed

Method:-

  • In a mixing bowl add oats,wheat flour,salt, brown sugar,baking soda and mix well.
  • Rub the butter into the flour mixture.
  • Add milk little at a time to make a stiff dough.
  • Roll the dough and cut into any desired shape.
  • Place the cutout cookies on a baking tray and bake in preheated oven @190°C for 15mins.
  • Once done remove from oven and let it cool down completely.
  • Store in airtight container.

    Chilli Cheese Cookies

    Nothing can beat the rich mouth-feel and cheesey delightfulness of this cookies.

    Ingredients:-

    All purpose flour-1 1/4cup

    Butter-1/2cup

    Powdered sugar-1tbsp

    Grated cheese-1/4cup

    Milk powder-1tbsp

    Baking powder-1/4tsp

    Chilli flakes-1/2tbsp

    Salt-3/4tsp

    Method:-

    • Sieve flour,salt and baking powder.
    • Beat butter and powdered sugar till light and creamy.
    • Add milk powder, grated cheese to butter mixture and mix well.
    • Now add flour mixture and chilli flakes.Mix well and form a smooth dough.
    • Preheat the oven @160°C.
    • Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll it for about half an inch.
    • Cut the cookies using cookie  cutter.
    • Place these cookies on a greased baking tray.

    • Bake in preheated oven @160°C for 15-17mins.
    • Once done remove from oven and let it cool down completely.
    • Store them in an air-tight container.

    Butter Cookies

    A basic butter cookie recipe.It is so soft and just melts in mouth.

    Ingredients:-

    All purpose flour-2 1/4cup

    Butter-1cup

    Powdered sugar-3/4cup

    Salt-a pinch

    Method:-

    • Cream the butter and sugar until it is light and fluffy.sieve flour and salt for twice.
    • Mix flour mixture with butter and make a dough.
    • Wrap the dough and keep in refrigerator for an hour.
    • Pre heat the oven @180°C .
    • Take out the dough from refrigerator and divide into two portions.
    • Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter.
    • Place in baking tray and bake in preheated oven@180°C for 18-20mins.
    • Once done remove from oven and let it cool down completely.

      Note:-

      • No need to line the baking tray.As it has so much butter in it that it leaves the pan easily.
